Anybody ever done sobes? Its when you cut a hole in the bottom of a gatorade bottle, fill it up with water, light the bowl on top and let the water drain drawing the smoke into the bottle. Then you unscrew the cap and pound the whole thing. Gets you so high you will be on the floor twitching

I've never heard the term sobe hits but its just a ghetto gravity bong... works best with old glass sobe bottles cus you can just poke holes in the metal top and there is a really thin glass spot at the bottom easy to punch out

We usually used a gatorade bottle and cut threw the cap to put a tin foil bowl in the cut out a hole ate the bottom. I guess youre supposed to use a sobe bottle but whatever

So dope with a 5 gal water tank from the cooler and a tub/pool. But yes gravity/waterfall is the correct term.

waterfall is when theres water pouring out the bottom, gravity when you just lift up to decrease water levels, increase smoke in the bottle. both seem excessive once youve got a bong, but i used to like waterfalls because the size of hole dictates how fast the bowl is roasted. small opening, slower decrease of water, longer cherry and thicker smoke.

Haha exactly.

Funny because now that I know what sockets are actually used for I went out to the garage to grab a 7/16 and discovered all the common sizes were perfect for water bottle bongs and I lost them all...

I would always cut as big of a hole in the lid that I could, and then make a bowl out of aluminum foil by poking a bunch of holes in the foil and wrapping it around the holed out lid. I went to the store a few months ago only to see that sobe doesn't use glass bottles anymore. Bummer that was probly the best easiest way to waterfall.

How could it have been easy to do this with a glass bottle? Wouldnt it just shatter when you tried to poke a hole in the bottom? Makes no sense

those types of glass bottles (like sobe and snapple) are actually really easy to shatter or break open just the bottom.

never used one for this purpose, but I've accidentally done it on plenty of snapples.

ahhh the good old fashioned pisser bong. we had one by the river at my highschool that was always left under this old stump. unless you knew what it was it just looked like trash, but it was a perfect communal piece for all of us underagers who couldnt buy something real.

Meh, depends. Yeah it's a cleaner smoke but a proper wattle bottle gravity or waterfall will get you way more high than a chillin or small spoon bowl..

You guys got me all nostalgic, I had to go and make a big old gravity bong yesterday. We always poked a bong slide style bowl through the bottlecap of a milk/water gallon jug rather than using a socket, but not everyone has those.

We went full retard though, and ended up using something that was apparently really gross as the basin for the bong. Oh well.

well there was this divot/thin spot in the glass at the bottom that you could make a relatively clean hole with a screwdriver or whatever.
