Do it. I'm working on it right now, it's fun at times.

If that was on a STM then the background is probably a metal of some type, I'm fairly certain your sample needs to be conductive for those, so a conductive metal background would work.

at first i wondered how they could keep atoms from flying all over the place, but then they said they kept the photo room at about -260 degrees C. absolute zero is -273 so yes that would make sense now
