Seeing the pictures posted of them mid air or on tramp always look so perfect, and if i ever try to do that its so far from it. anyone know why?

the manufacturers probably pay them to do anything possible to make the shots look good. Otherwise it turns people off from buying there stuff when they realize the raw footage more often then not isn't exactly great.

They probably actually use the camera setting on the GoPro, not the video setting and then just save a frame of the video. They also are probably using a hero 3 on the highest mp setting which i believe is 12 (not sure about that). And they also edit all their photos in photoshop or use a filter on insta. If you post a pic taken from your gopro i could help tell you what you need to do to change it.
