I would say that if you're making a video for the ski area, you should focus a little more on the vibes and the amount of fun that kids have skiing park there. That way a wider audience will be able to appreciate it.
Different manipulation of sound, song choice, and tempo/pattern of editing can have a huge effect on the mood/vibe (this seemed a little slower and drawn out than it could have been)
Also, camera movement can play a huge role in the mood of a film. Speed of movement is the basic thing to think about (slower is usually more dramatic, faster is usually less dramatic.)
