Seeing as I'm one of the few people in here who's actually spent time in Cotati (TheLorax might be another one, seeing as he's from about 10 minutes down the road) and It's no real different than any other small township near a large city. I for one have never had to deal with the cops there, but everywhere has it's bad eggs.




...on that note, I live in a town that's cotati-ish here in Oregon, and last night I saw a guy get hauled out of the library by 5 cops. They threw him to the ground so hard that his sandal flew at least 10 feet away. It was GNARLY. They then dragged him off.

Granted, he was probably homeless, and probably wacking it or something, but it was a pretty unnecessary show of force. They didn't need 5 guys, and they sure didn't need to throw him to the ground like he was a fugitive. They just have nothing better to do, so they want to be forceful when they can, I suppose..

Probably the wrong address. I remember one case where an elderly couple thought they were experiencing a home invasion and drew a shotgun on the perpetrators, too bad it was a squad of police with the wrong house number. Cost the elderly man his life. Shit like this is grounds for slaying pigs with whatever force necessary.

he could have just as easily fucked over your night, brought charges against you, while they may be dismissed later you still get the arrest record. Anyway, dont get lippy with cops it's not worth it. They have awful egos and the power to fuck your life up.

that might be the case but they cant pound someone to the ground like that for simply being behind them, or refuse to state why they are being arrested.

I know the border patrol has the right to do what your talking about but I dont know about the police.

I fucking hate these kind of videos. Some asshole, internet educated, wannabe lawyer thinks he knows everything. You know how easy it is just to talk to cops like normal people. Instead he tries being a smart ass prick and gets tased.
