Hey folks we got a first timer here!

Ski ballet used to be HUGE in the skiing world. People went pro in that stuff back when, it was one of the origins of freestyle.

how has no one heard of this? this was newschool skiing before newschool skiing came along. it was in Hot Dog and every pre-1985 warren miller film ever made. hell even my dad has a pair of ballet poles collecting dust in the basement.

Seriously though, if Henrik got a hold of this shit it'd be crazy. Can you imagine a pole invert 720 ON??? If anybody could use the mechanics involved and make it relevant, I bet he could.
