Where to store guns while in college?

I occasionally go target shooting at a range every couple of weeks and would like to continue this trend in college.

I was wondering what would be the optimal place to store guns in college. I'll be attending college at the University of South Carolina, where it is illegal to possess guns on the campus (i would hope that it would be illegal, but i know some campuses allow you to do this).

Would a local police station store them? maybe campus police? or do I purchase a storage unit to store a few guns? (I don't even know if that's legal) I'm trying to keep the cost of storing them as low as possible.

you can probably store them at the gun range or im sure they owuld know where to store them. The police station is a pretty good idea.
But in this day and age why the fuck would you watn to bring gunst o school. So dam stupid

A school that big will have some sort of shooting club and the club will have a place where they keep all of their member's guns.

I would dissasemble them and keep them in my room. Guns arent easy to put back together if you dont know what your doing so even if a crazy took em it probably wouldnt do them any good. I also wouldnt store any ammo.

I get this is pretty bad advice but im kind of reckless so it makes sense

I looked into this when I was in college, for turkey hunting. The campus police were willing to store them for me. I never ended up doing it, but this was a good option.

my sister took hers to the campus police and they have a place where you can store it and take it out when you want

Make some friends who live off campus that you trust, and have them hang onto them.

At my school (Lafayette College, PA), I have heard that we can take them down to public safety (our campus police/security) and they will store them, and then you can go down and take them out to go hunt or shoot targets on weekends etc. I would try emailing the school, and then seeing if you know anyone who goes there who either shoots or hunts and see what they do
