I had such a shitty day i got charged with mischief under 5000

Today I vandalized a garbage can , a sign and a electric box with a graffiti marker an undercover cop was watching and came over and arrested me and and my friend. I did most of the tagging my friend was just juicing up his marker on the garbage can when the cop came over and arrested us. We where taken back to the station. I was released after 3 hours and agreeing to go to court. The handcuffs they used where much too tight and there are still a bunch of red markings and bruises on my hands. I was charged with mischief under 5000 and given a court date one month from now and a fingerprint and photo date in about 2 weeks. I know what I did was wrong. I am 16 years old and have no idea what to do. i live in canada

Kid, youll probably get court ordered community service and have your parents pissed at you. But youre young, and youll be fine down the road if you dont mess up again.

Jk it was probably a shitty generic tag and OP deserves his punishment. Just man up and deal with it. I've done stupid shit when I was in high school and had the cops call my parents at 2am a few times. I dealt with the punishment and learned not to be a little shit in public anymore!
