I honestly think its a tad bit foolish for professionals to take a word and turn it in to something that totally makes no sense. The meaning of mahalo is thank you. The context skiers use it in makes zero sense. I may as well go and take hola and turn it into steezy. You'd call me an idiot if I did that.
