So since there isn't an official dream thread I decided to start one. This thread is a place to post about your favorite dreams, any techniques you use to get lucid, and general discussion about the art of dreaming.


If anyone hasn't tried to lucid dream i would highly recommend it, as it is one of the most literal and figurative "unreal" experiences you could possibly have.

Look this shit up ns and try it tonight!





P.S) for all the first time "dreamers" i recommend the finger technique to get you started

Thats a plus of becoming lucid in your dreams though. You can change a nightmare into something not scary at all

You all might try opiates. You get the nod everytime which is for me the exact same thing as a lucid dream. Your mind is thinking about whatever you want to think about, but you are sound asleep

I have the ability to control my dream every night. It's bittersweet because the more and more I create a world in my dream the less rest I actually get. I've just kind of grown up with the ability.

First success last night. Woke up after about 6 hours. Used FILD, did a reality check, and i could breathe even though my nose was plugged. Pretty cool

Also, haven't been able to find a clear answer on this. When I use FILD, my body becomes numb and I can't move. There is also a very loud noise in the room. Sort of sounds like when the T-Rex roars in Jurassic Park.
Any explanation?

Idk if anyone here has ever tried WILD? Which is pretty much lying still and going to sleep but retaining your consciousness, if I'm not mistaken. Ive been trying to do this, but whenever I try to go to slowly go to sleep, but stay conscious, spit keeps building up in my mouth, and I lose focus. Idk if anyone else has tried this, or had the same or similar problem.

Also, who else has dreams that they're skiing? I get these pretty often during the off season, and they're sooo fucking awesome. In my dream I feel a bit lighter, and I'm able to do stuff that is way out of my grasp in reality. Eg in real life, I can barely front 4, but I remember a dream where I did a blind 6 no problem, and it felt so real? Anyone care to share similar experiences?

Sounds like a sort of sleep paralysis. I felt a tingling sensation like when a body regains circulation after a while of being cut off all over the place. Then when I start moving, I'm no longer moving my physical body but my dream body. I never looked down at my sleep body in my dream. In fact, I didn't even imagine it. In my dream when I opened my eyes I was my body and I was awake in my room even though I knew I was dreaming. But that feeling when I split away was undoubtedly one of the weirdest things ive ever felt.

Im doing FILD right now but if it doesnt work i try WILD. Im working on having lucid skiing dreams and trying new tricks, then im going to try them in real life and see how much it carries over.

No, I just remember being able to breathe like that and then waking up in like 40 seconds.

You sure you tried the right finger thing? ;) haha i have never gotten horny from that, but i guess thats a possible side effect of being alone with yourself in a bed.

yeah i have had that exact experience you described last, i'd be skiing pow hucking corks and shit when in reality i'm not quite there yet haha. they're during the season for me and were actually the reason i decide to sack up and spin this year cause in the dream it legit felt so great stomping those tricks and riding out in blower pow

My love strong bracelet is my dream marker. Whenever I check for my dream marker, if there is nothing there or it is different then I smile as hard as I can to keep myself in lucid state. Happens once every 5-6 nights

I've only successfully managed to lucid dream once, and for the short time it lasted, it was one of the most incredible experiences ever. I recall dreams very well but should spend more time writing them down, it really helps.

in my dream last night i realized i was dreaming and i remember everything i did, but i didn't do anything and i didnt wake up in my bed or anyhting i was just thrown into everything like a normal dream

i had sex with angela from the office /claim

was it a lucid dream?

If you realise that you're dreaming, even if you don't take action, then you're lucid dreaming.

Last night I had a dream that it was ski season and I stomped a dub cork 7 and then celebrated by having sex with my best friend. It was very strange.
