Wizard of Oz and The Dark Side of the Moon

Ok, well I learned something rather interesting today. Apparently, if you listen to the dark side of the moon while watching the wizard of oz it matches up perfectly. YOu have to turn the volume on the wizard of oz down and start the vinyl or cd or whatever after the lion roars at the begginning the second time and apparently the actions in the movie match up with the albumn perfectly. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this or if they could and let me know if it works.

look at the album art, beam starts normal and comes out a spectrum. now think of the movie. starts black and white, ends color.

I don't have acces to a vinyl anymore ... but will it still work with the cd? we haven't tried it yet, but the vinyl was sweet when we watched that. Very eerie

It's fucked... I've watched it up until they get to OZ. Gonna watch the rest some time (can't wait for the flying monkeys). I got ahold of an .avi, that has the album sound-over. That way you can stop and play with ease.

start the cd when the black and white lion roars its 3rd time at the beginning, when the name Merveyn Leroy or something comes up, should be right when the music in Breathe starts

tool?? awful?? ahaha i think not, listen to the music and lyrics. they are without a doubt one of the most under appreciated bands to this day. theyre music is pure art and no ones gives them credit for it. they bring the most talent to any stage these days

i also am a large fan of tool and am hoping they have a new cd coming out soon
as for the wizard of oz thing, we tried once while we were all stoned and i really did not think it matched up. we started it from the begining of the cd and movie and there were similarities for sure but it seems more so like people try to find what is the same and make themselves believe it works. i myself didnt think it worked
