You dont need anything to help slide pvc, its really slippery already. You either have the sharpest edges known to man, or you have the wrong kind of pvc.
put it on a slight slope... pvc can be sorta slow if you're sliding like 30 foot pvc rails on flat ground, but if you have them slightly sloped downward it'll be so much better
Fairly confident there is just one kind of PVC, but some may be softer than others. You just need more speed or keep your bases flatter. OP's drop in probably looks like this
I don't know why pvc sometimes gets sticky, but mine did a few times, the best thing to do is to rub some wax on it, either skate wax or candle wax... that got rid of the issue for me, but it was really really slippery for a few hits.
