Replying to GH3 + which lens??

Hey y'all, like so many others I just picked up a GH3 from B&H. I was just wondering if anyone out there has a good recommendation on what lens/lenses to get for it. I shoot mainly backcountry stuff so I'm looking for something that has a pretty good zoom. The lens that caught my eye right off the bat was the Lumix 35-100 2.8 but I'm not too keen to spend $1,400 on it and I know many people say that its pointless to spend that much money for image sabalization, so whats a good alterantive? Or is that the lens to go for? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
