Anyone shoots with 5D mkII ?

For those of you shoot with it, you are very welcome to post on this thread and perhaps share your expertise on how to shoot skiing (or other) effectively with the LiveView, how do you always stay in focus ?
Does USM technology focuses while video shooting ?

You don't use autofocus with video.

you stay in focus by changing the focus with the focus ring.

I agree with that, always manually, but just saying, on a DSLR it isn't always easy, unless you have a follow focus or a focus puller.

Then crank up the aperture, your artsy depth of field shots aren't going to be that artsy when they aren't focussed properly.

this, and download a depth of field calculator app if you need one. I know they have them pfor iphone, and I would be surprised if they didn't for android. I know they also have them online, and it could be very helpful for you
