I'm surprised it didn't high center, I accidentally drove onto 4 oclock trail at Breck a few years back, made it about 50 feet before getting stuck.

Same here, only seen one in my life, and that was at the Minneapolis car show... so it wasn't as rare as seeing it in the "wild"

I would also nab a GT-R if I had the money, but I'd go with a slightly more old school one, the 1971 GTR

Snow has less friction than pavement. Driving on the groomed trails isn't that hard though.

yea dude, I wasn't really paying attention and thought it was a road, drove right out of a parking lot onto it. It was just too soft and my tires sank even though it was groomed.

The cat just groomed the snow with shitloads of down pressure, and cut to harden that shit up. You can drive up most trails where cats do that. A real challenge is to see a car do that on a trail where its packed pow. Would not get
more then 20 feet.

I'm sure a snow cat weighs a lot but the weight is spread out a whole lot more on its tracks than the weight of a car on just four wheels.
