who could drop their current sport and easily play another?

I was thinking AP could dominate in Rugby

Lebron would be a sick TE in the NFL with his size, speed and hands.

Durant could be a good WR if he gained a little weight, great combo of height and quickness. as long as he can get off the jam, he just needs to jump.

Maybe Rondo could be a RB, if too small he's quick enough to be a CB for sure

apparently steve nash is pretty good at soccer

lots of big hockey players, hard to tell how they would handle running, passing etc in football. way too different. its actually pretty hard to compare most sports in terms of the elite. lots are great at their thing, but its difficult to tell how it would translate. just look at jordan in the mlb...

actually skating and running are VERY similar. most fast skaters are fast runners too and vise versa

LeBron was All-Ohio as a WR in high school. He went to a rival school so I saw him play all the time before he was big. Pretty cool to see the whole progression and watching him blow up

Fuck TE with some work he'd be a balling receiver depending on his speed. He's got size but not the kind of size an elite NFL TE has, and about the same size as a few receivers.

I think Just about any major american sport athlete could dominate in other sports. Kevin Durrant playing keeper in soccer with his height, wingspand and quickness... Come on. just about any NFL play could be awesome in rugby. Lebron playing Handball. There is a track sprinter that plays for the USA mens national team and he does pretty well. Noone can even come remotely close to catching him if he gets any space.

A lot of baseball players could cross over to quarterbacks and the other way around. Hockey players would probably transfer to soccer or lacrosse and some of the bigger ones could play football. basketball players could play skilled football positions.

yes, give any good baseball player a football and they can hurl it. Johny Manziel was about to go to college for baseball and decided to play football instead. Mostly pitchers though

NO.  The throwing motion of a baseball and the throwing motion of a football are WAY differrent. Not saying that some baseball players could throw a football but you would be surprised how much different. In baseball the ball is brought down low by the waist to throw. In football the ball should never go below your shoulder. Example: Tim Tebows throws like a baseball, which is why he is criticized so much about his throwing motion.  Not to say either baseball or football couldnt be thrown and thrown far but there is much more to it.

are you serious dude.  name me a tight end or a wide receiver that is 6'8... let alone one that can run and jump as fast as lebron can.  he would be a monster in the nfl.  he just doesn't look as big in the nba due to every person being tall.

Met this dude a few times working at the golf course. One of the bartenders was good friends with him and took him out golfing a lot. Played a few holes with him too. Dude knows how to pound a golf ball very well too.

He got paid a fuck load to play on the Yankees farm teams before he decided to light it up at OSU and play in the NFL as a QB. Didn't play QB on our team in high school.

As much as I fucking hate that little pussy, trust me I'm all about hometown loyalty and I'm a Celtics fan so you'd be hard pressed to find someone who hates him more, but he's one of the best atheletes ever. and if you think he's too frail for the NFL that's because he doesn't play in the NFL and he works out to play basketball better. if he wanted more bulk he could get some.
