Where should I take 360 uni mates skiing?

I'm on committee for my university's ski club and we're looking at where to book our trip to. The options are Les Arcs, Tignes, Les Deux Alpes and Mayrhofen. We could also go to back to Val Thorens (Christmas 2011), Val D'Isere (Christmas 2012) or Alpe d'Huez (spring 2013 & probably spring 2014). Where do you think we should go, bearing in mind that the parks probably won't be set up that well so early on, so we basically need good terrain and good nightlife?

Les Arcs got loads of sweet terrain, good night life in 1800, super high guaranteed snow.

Tignes is an obvious choice, HUGE terrain in espace killy, amazingly accessible side country, amazing parks which should be set up early on. One of the best places to ski in the alps in my opinion.

Val Tho was sick this spring, best spring conditions iv ever skied, coz its so high snow never melted then refrose over night like it normally does at that time of the year early april. just stayed super fluffy and light was awesome. Its also got La Folie Douce above the town which the other ones do not. The park is banger, theyve got a super good set up. and at the top of the meribel valley is another awesome park which has got a 22 foot pipe as well which is awesome.

Tignes and Val d'Isere have a La Folie Deuce as well buddy, never been to Val Thoren but after having gone to Tignes and Val 5 times I can vouch for quality skiing there. Val-Park is always set up as throughout the season and the Tignes Swatch gets built after about a month in December sometime.

What does 360 mean here? What I'm getting is that there is either 360 people going or that they can only pull off 360's....

I would say go to Val Thorens for La Folie Douche, Les Arcs (paradiski), or Val D'Isere

Espace Killy is an awesome place to ski, huge ski area, plenty of off piste, the parks in tignes and val are usually starting to take shape by the end of december. Not really sure on the nightlife there, but they have cool bars like loop and saloon, if you're there for New Year that would also be a bonus as that's incredible!

Ok, so we're going to be there for a week between about 14th-21st of December.

Yes, I do mean there will be three hundred and sixty people present, not that we're a bunch of beginner park skiers.

Last year in Val d'Isere and the year before in val thorens at the same time of year, neither had a park set up and the powder was so good that you just wouldn't ski park. Obviously no guarantee on snow next year, but fingers crossed. We're quite keen to go somewhere new and some people are quite keen on going to Les Arcs (1800). How is the skiing there?

You don't understand the word mates?

But go to Mayrhofen.

Zillertal has got sweet terrain, there will prob be a bit of park set up, and if the snow fails you have Hintertux close by.

It's also cheaper to live and party in Mayrhofen, and it's not full of greedy french people.

I have been tot he majority of these places at around the same time of year. I guess you are going with Outgoing? Assuming this, Mayrhofen is a sick resort, good nightlife, tons of terrain and even a baby park at this timeof year. Beware of the accom though, very spread out and not always the friendliest of owners for party people. Les Arc would be a good shout. Cheap ish drinks, lots of terrain and good nighlife. I would personally pick L2A though. Its got the best of everything and you'll get a base price of around £320 if you bargain hard enough. Good nigh life and a glacier for guaranteed snow. Which Uni is it btw?

i hit les arcs at around that time this season...... had 2.8m of snow. fresh everyday! best week of pow skiing in my life! there are so many trees which is amazing for some pow shots

And next year everything might be green. Best bet is to go somewhere with a glacier.

Cardiff university. We're looking at a couple of different companies. We've been with outgoing for the last 2 years, but we've heard great things about nuco. Outgoing do offer Mayrhofen though which I think would be ideal apart from the fact that we'll be in little Austrian hotels where the owner lives there too, rather than in the french megablocks where you can get away with more. Then again with the gendarmerie being so tight on noise complaints after 10pm we're about as likely to run into problems with the french as the austrians.
What do people think of Les Deux Alpes? I've skied La Grave a couple of times and having the option of getting a bunch of people together to get a guide would be awesome. Also it has the glacier so guaranteed some skiing and they're known for having a solid park set-up.
