Best time for buying ski stuff?

When is the best time to get sales on gear? I'm broke now, but for future reference I would love to know.

Probably now, or not too long ago. I got some STH12 Drivers for 120 bucks from backcountry on a price check from bentgate a month ago. Wicked deal IMO. Some places like D-Structure also have a massive price drop right around Christmas then after New Years. And after New Years it just stays discounted. Good discounts to. Yep, I'm cheap as fuck...

end of season or when the newest gear comes out if your buying last years gear. The prices drop significantly. For example, I paid $450 for 12/13 Full tilt drop kicks and saw a pair for $300 on ebay a couple days ago. A pair of 12/13 k2 domains sold for $185 on ebay yesterday too

The end of season and beginning of summer is always a good time to get some great deals on newer stuff. You can also check out ski swaps in october and november to get some nice used gear.
