Gopro hero 3 issue (+K)

I have a gopro hero 3 black, when I am filming on a setting higer then 1080 it will only film for about 7 secconds then stop filming. does anyone know about this?

Sounds like you don't have a fast enough sd card

try with another sd card but i don't think it's the problem. I know several people including me that who had this fucking problem.
most of the time of the time it's because of a bad update or firmware. You should update your camera firmware and see were it goes.
If it do not solve the problem, then try with a lower resolution. If it work, the problem comes from your sd card.

forgot to say this but sometimes it's possible that gopro stop to shoot because of a fucking bad battery. That's what happened to me lots of times, i was shooting with datass bad china quality battery ...

so try with another battery too.

wouldn't be surprised if it's defected, mine didn't work at high elevations or in the cold and the battery charged drained in less than 8 minutes even with the battery backpack on. literally almost half of these things were defected when they first came out because they were rushing to release it as soon as they could

GoPro just released a new firmware, I had the same problem with my Hero 3 black.  Download the new firmware and you should be good.
