Swear they just make up charges as they go along. You can't view your academic records after paying for all of the classes and bullshit fees to begin with, but wait we want more money. College is a giant scheme to rape you of your entire life savings.

It is completely relevant. It is still a cost that is going to be covered by a student loan unless it is payed for by the savings of the student/his or her parents, which isn't always the case.
You aren't thinking reasonably. Obviously most students will require at least room and board, if not a meal plan. Pirating books? Unlike you, some people don't want to take that risk or are required to have a hard copy for class. Sure that doesn't mean they will end up buying them but books are the smallest price to pay out of all listed above.
The fact is, here in America, you are going to end up paying around 20k a year to go to school minimum, unless you go to CC or a tech school, just like I said in my previous post. Unless you are rich, have parents that properly managed a college savings account, or worked your ass off for god knows how many years (most likely a minimum wage job considering you'd still be in high school) to pay your way through school, you most likely will have to take out a student loan (or many for that matter) which IMO is much worse than having to pay a little extra on your taxes for a lower rate.
And like I said, which you seemed to ignore because it is true, a student loan carries interest and you cannot bankrupt on it, making it far more risky than paying extra in taxes.

I pay less than 800 bucks a semester at the U because I'm not a lazy retard.
- Get in-state
- Apply for grants and scholarships
- Don't be a fucking dumb ass by blindly attending a school because people say, "it's a good college".
Whatever debt you encur for yourself is completely your own damned fault. Quit being such a fucking pussy about having the opportunity to get a higher education, you fucking spoiled, 1st world ignorant shithead.
