I love Diners Drive ins and Dives and just the food network in general...but god dam. Something about that guy. Everytime I see him say something so stupid I just want to jump through the TV and punch him so hard in the face.

Agreed. If any one of us was famous and traveling constantly, we would probably look like dicks occasionally too. He seems like my kind of dude and I'd party with him fo sho.

Also, Guy Fieri is making bank on being a personality, not a chef. There are thousands and thousands of critics and chefs out there that aren't famous and aren't making bank because they are exactly like everyone else. There is no differentiation. Guy is an obnoxious douche because the world eats up obnoxious douches. Good for him. Who gives a fuck?

It's called culture, and food is an amazing part of it. I wouldn't expect you to see the value in any of that though, since you seem to have hinged your existence on the joys of stuffing your face to the gills 24/7 and being a prick on the interwebs right from the comfort of your mom's basement.

Food doesn't have to be about being a fat slob. A well prepared meal is art you consume, and so many places on the planet have different specialties that should be experienced IMO. But hey, you're skiierman. You don't need that shit. Mom's meatloaf will be done any second (what does she even DO in there!?)

Sparknotes: Traveling is awesome, great food is amazing and you're an uncultured twat wrapped in an unwaveringly miserable douche.

1. Food is not culture, food is a product of someone's geographical region. There's a reason why Mexicans like spicy shit and dog meat and us New Englanders love real maple syrup and fresh seafood.

2. Food doesn't have to be about being a fat slob but when your job is to travel around specifically to eat food, that's being a fat fucking slob. They try to hide this with a couple soundbites summarizing the actual culture of the area where they're being gluttonous.
