We all know someone who is stuck on proform and has been maybe for only a while or maybe years, and they receive a couple of pairs of skis and maybe a hoodie, and if it's an outerwear sponsor a jacket and some discount. Just like the friendzone, they never get the real deal and some may never make it out of this terrible rut. They may be talented, attractive, nice and funny, but it's something the sponsors don't see as their first choice. They may like someone else better who may be a douche, just like the friendzone. They may get the occasional "butt touch", the proform skier only hears about how much further others have got with their company, and essentially they are the company's bitch.
