Ski Graphic Color Fading?

I have this years Chronics and as yall know they're SUPER bright and vivid.
Anyways I had a sticker and after a while a part of it peeled off. And you could see a clear outline of the sticker's shape. While looking at the ski as a whole there is no noticeable change/fading, when you look closely, it is significantly more vivid/"glowy" where the sticker was, out of direct sun.
Thoughts? Stories? Does this always happen/is it natural?

I've never seen this. But it makes sense, all colors fade over time when put in direct sun light.
I might have to put a sticker on the next pair of new skis I get and see if this happens.

Yeah, it will definitely happen. You could also give the area a quick clean with some soapy water, and a soft cloth. White top sheets get kinda stained from dirt I've found, and they look like a million bucks after you give them some cleaning. Still though they're likely faded by UV rays. Not the end of the world.

Yeah more like an observation than a problem

Doesn't matter. I'm not concerned about the ski at all and I'm not gonna cry to Line for a warranty. I don't mind. It's just tat I've never heard of the fading before.

Put anything in the sun and it will fade. Maybe I'll post a pic of my '08 Chronics, then you'll see what fade really is.

804 Orage fades the quickest of any colors during repeated UV exposure, hence your experience.
All times are Eastern (-5)
