Your Worst Trade

So i figured many of us have made some pretty god awful trades in our time with other skiers or whatever it is you do.

I was in the car with my brother talking about what my worst trades was, and i have to say it brought me back to one of my worst days.

Had a pair of nice 175 armada arvs with fks 18s on them, bought them on craigslist first year i started doing park, such a sick ski i hate myself for this. Opening day Loon 2010 traded them for a beat to shit pair of solly spks and i mean beat to shit, i thought it was cool to have park boots, i was very wrong, they sucks for my feet. Worst trade of my life.

I can honestly say I've never made a bad trade IIRC. The only trade I'd consider less than good is when I bought ski movies this year and sold them for 80% of cost.

A few years back when I just found out what jiberish was I seen a for sale thread with an ignant vest that I absolutely had to have. I traded my simon dumont splices, a pair of skullcandy Icon 2s, And $50. I think I wore it once and than gave it to my brother..

Wasn't on my part, but I traded a used $30 backpack for a brand new $75 dakine baker pack. The kid was really pushing me to do the trade so I couldn't really say no (he knew the price difference).

One time I traded a Pidgey for a Charizard and then realized the kid gave me a Pikachu! I already have a Pikachu! Boy did I feel stupid....

In my younger years durring my schools summer program some younger kid really wanted my holographic Zapdos. This was one of the OG ones too, not one of those gay newer versions. I'm talking about this bad boy.

99% Sure this kid would shoot me down, because who the fuck would trade a holographic 1st edition Charizard for anything, I asked him... I'll give you my Zapdos for your Charizard?

DONE. Kid handed it to my trembling hands as I said peace out to Zapdos.
I still have that card. I keep it in a box next to my bed with all my favorite cards, some nicknacks, and a few condoms.
Now on the rare occasion I get to break out the condoms, I see that card and remember how I snaked that kids Charizard all those years ago. Makes the moment just that much sweeter.

but to contribute mine would have to be a pair of sick grey pants which i traded for a faggy orange coat because it was large, didnt realise it was a 6XL and made for fat fucks. #thanksdanderson

Good old rs scams, a particular favorite of mine(and the only one I actually did was putting up say 5m, changing it to 5k and quickly hitting accept, worked a lot.

solid trade. I was a bit of a dick when it came to pokemon card trades.

must have been grade 5 and I had a dark charizard. so pretty much a worthless card. some kids in grade 4 thought it was legit and traded like 6 stars and a bunch of diamonds for it. they found out next day it was completely worthless and told the teachers on me and the teachers didn't give a fuck.


the best though was I photocopied a Venusaur in black in white then coloured it in by hand and glued the front and back together and traded it to some idiot for a holographic Lapras.

well it's not about trading but when I was 8 I lost a whole book of my pokemon cards. It was a sick little book that was meant for yugio. There was probably 60+ cards in there and all my best, including an 2 OG charizards! It still makes me sad to think about....

I didn't remember exact numbers haha.

Another memory(and the time I quit(quite a while back)) was losing 150m, can't remember how, either died or tried to sell it or something and got banned.

Perhaps not in rs classic, but rs2 is like that. 1-99999 is yellow. 100k-9999k is white. 10m-2147m is green. Trust me I play

Would you say scamming is the same as trading?

In the 6th grade when MW2 was in it's prime, I told some chump on Xbox I could get him 10th prestige for 4800 microsoft points. This kid stars freaking out, makes him mom go to the store and buy a $40 game card, and reads me the numbers to a tee. Stole that shit and gave the kid the old "whats the shape of Italy" line.

Snagged a 7d with a 24-70mm on it for a T3i with a grip and 200 cash. Obvious move because the kid asked me. Naturally i say yes, meet him within the hour, and take that thing right off his hands. He was clueless for about two months then flips out on me for ripping him off. I ignore him all summer and had some scuttle buts throughout the season. Threw him an extra couple bucks then never saw him again. Really annoying kid but in the end I still got the good deal.
