Waterproof Handycam?

So I have a GoPro HD Hero 2 and I need an upgrade. I want something thats under $750, not to complex, waterproof/shockproof/dustproof and small. I don't want like a t2i or anything, I'd be to afraid that I would break it, or be so worried about breaking it that I don't have as much fun skiing. I'm looking at the Sony handycam hdr gw77 and I'm seriously considering it. Any thoughts on: this camera? other cameras?

Most camcorders and cameras are not waterproof/shockproof/dustproof, unless you buy an expensive water-tight casing. Your best bet is either getting a camcorder (Panasonic tm700 is another option), or any other POV cameras (gopro, contour, Sony actioncam, etc..), but if you have a hero 2, no need to upgrade to hero 3 black. Hope this helps!
on a side note, my buddy crashed with his 60D+glidecam+rode mic and the camera got wet, but absolutely no damage at all. You will not break a camcorder

Honestly, I know its not exactly what your looking for, but i would get the gopro hero 3. They sold 2.3 million go pros in 2012 and they have more money than they can handle. The amount of technology in those new go pros is insane. The quality is supurb, thats why nobody, not even sony, panasonic, or contour can compete.
