I almost started a forest fire

I was welding the flat down rail and the grass caught fire pretty good. Luckily I'm a boss and I got that shit out. About 5 minutes after that a whole shit ton of cars showed up. Turns out they were doing firefighting training in the parking lot. Would have been solid if they showed up to a huge burning forest.

I feel like burning down most of the southern adirondack park would be frowned upon. Who knows though.

I would have also been giving the firefighters some real life training. So I would have been helping them.

I guess I'm just a pussy. It wasn't even like it was laying in the grass. IT was 3 or 4 feet off the ground. All the sudden heard a sizzle from the wrong direction. Ended up moving everything onto the dirt after.

Coincidentally there is a brush fire about a mile away from me right now and the only road into/out of our area is closed off, cool beans.

Yeah. I'm glad I caught it. Could have been bad news. Also the water in the building near buy was turned off.

I have a similar story. Threw a hookah coal down a ravine in the fall time when the leaves were extremely dry, luckily i went back to the porch for a little while because about five minitues later I see the glow of fire aganst the trees in the ravine. I had to run half way down to try to douse the rapidly growing fire and then repeat the process by filling it up with hose water and running back and fourth. not my finest moment

Good thing you got it put out.

When I was younger my dumbass self had to play with fire all the time and one time I mixed charcoal fluid, crushed charcoal, to make a paste type thing and accidentally lit it on fire inside of my house. Then it dumped over onto the carpet but luckily no damage was done. Boy would I have been fucked if my parents found out.

when I was 13 I didn't know that gasoline was explosive so when I put kerosene on a fire and it didn't light, i got out the gas. vapors traveled over to flames (i was adding gasoline to flames, just like ten feet away) and the vapors ignited and follow the trail to the gas can i was holding. lost all the hair on my leg. fuckin sucked.
