lots of people complain about "summer ns". What i am proposing to rid this anxiety is a collective "picking up" of a hobby by all ns members. by doing this, there will be purposeful threads and many of the skiing ns'ers will have a great new hobby. I suggest bird-watching, i love animals and birds are one of the only wild animals that we come in contact with on a day to day basis! whos with me.
You should take a break from NS. You post far too much, which is the first thing you should stop to avoid summer NS. Which shouldn't be avoided because its pretty funny.
I honestly cannot think of a more fitting hobby for a 50 year old woman.
Alternatively to ops stupid idea you could try something fun like skateboarding, photography, biking, going to the gym, building a summer setup then using it, starting an art project like a painting you like or large drawing, starting a summer sport at a town league, or even getting a job.
alright lets say the people of NS like your idea and everybody would start bird watching. then they come back and post about it here. before you know it ns will no longer be a skiing forum but a bird watching forum, thus destroying everything in existence and the universe.
i wish ns was a birdwatching website. to be completely honest ive never skied a day in my life, the only thing i really do besides sleep is birdwatch, but all the birdwatching forums are dead. literally.
I birdwatch too and its pretty meh. Its cool and all when you identify a new or rare species but its pretty boring. Birding is really something you just do off to the side of larger activities or when you have noting else to do.
