Ahhh I am being tortured here, I am sitting on the check out page on top of a XL Triple Stack OG hoodie in Hot coral and a pair of those sick short circuit gloves, but I dont know the sizing on the gloves. I want a pair real bad before they sell out but I dont know if I am an M or L in gloves. SHITTTTT
only barely a day in and things are close to selling out? I thought the whole point of a pre-order was to gauge how much product needs to be made for the release in october. If there is already an actual numbered amount in stock then why even wait til october to ship it? makes no sense to me. I mean is there really only 5 3XL trippy mane pullovers left? lol
But some things (particularly 3xl and small) were originally listed in short stock because of a lower demand (I'm guessing because I checked within 2 hours of it opening). I'm guessing they already placed an order from the manufacturer and there is still limited stock, just they don't have it yet
its probably because they are making so many things,even though theres only 5 in a size they are probably making double the stuff than last year in total numbers

a lot of good stuff. i need to wait for a few more paychecks to come in, but i'm most likely going to get the safari anomie pants, camo fatigue jacket, trippy mane tee, and one of the black riding hoodies (either the outerwear co or triple stack one)

Just pre-ordered the last 3XL trippy mane hoodie in stock and also a 2XL hot coral og logo jacket. Next paycheck will be the XL scarface jacket and the one after that will be XL reaper pants
Damn. 40$ shipping to denmark. Which means i have to pay about 160$ for the trippy mane hoody because of import duty on clothes from USA which is 25% :/. Saga do you send your packages marked as "gifts" for those outside of the US? Just wondering.
With the expansion into retail and the increased quantity of items we have to produce we need to start production before presales begin. We make estimates about how much we think we will sell through our site and add that to the orders placed from shops. It's a tough thing to figure out. Not having enough product to meet the demand sucks but it's better than having too much product. As it says in the pre order info if we sell out of certain items there will be a complete list of our retailers that you can check to see of they carry the items you are looking for.
makes sense. that should help eliminate the need for a million sales just to get product sold while also helping out local business', good idea.
My next question, however, would be what about the shop employee discount program? I have to say although it was a big discount and not much money was made for you guys I also bought about 5x as much as probably would have otherwise. I noticed it is not active right now, although the dude at SIA said there would be another one again this year. The only problem is that if what I would want sells out online then I will be forced to turn to the shop I work at to buy it and the discount is not quite as large there as the online one was last year. I want to make it clear that I greatly appreciated that discount and am not going to bitch if it does not make an appearance again this year, but I am still curious as it is also probably the best discount for a company probably ever haha. Basically I just want to not miss out on the gear I want even if the discount comes back once the season actually begins.
Hopefully that makes sense, sorry for the rant format haha.
We will likely be doing it again. Some shop employees abused the program last year so we are working to refine it so we don't run into some of the same issues. Also Shop employees already have a lot of opportunities given to them that the regular customer . Think of it as giving the regular guy a head start. And if a shop employee really wants a certain color way they will purchase it now.
That's sad to hear. It was such a generous offering that abusing it would just seem downright pitiful. I don't take it for granted and also realize it completely out of your guys' generosity, I just viewed the situation as a little backwards to felt I should ask but makes sense. Looks like I'll just be seeing what's left when product comes in once the season begins, which is more than fair considering the discount! Thanks!
