Any of you guys go camping? my crew goes camping a lot out in the woods and just chill around the fire and play some poker. what do you guys do when you camp.

I love camping, planning to go out a lot this year. Shooting, drinking, building fires, cooking camp food, hanging with friends, taking pictures and above all just enjoying some neature. Would anyone enjoy a camping cult? Also if you're into camping check out www.polerstuff.com, really cool gear.

there is a distinctive difference for me between car camping and backpacking. both are fun. car camping is awesome cuz you can bring whatever da fucck you want but i like backpacking more because of how far out you can get. away from all worries and bothers

When I'm backpacking I love finding big rocks to climb. Nothing technical/bouldering problemish obviously bc of the lack of a crash pad but it's still fun.

Personally I just go out in the woods and find somewhere to camp, it's nice, as then you don't have to be around a bunch of strangers at a campground, and it's fun to try and find new interesting places to camp.

well at least where i live (wa) there are tonnnns of national forests and parks that have maintained trails. you start at the trail head and pretty much head for a destination, i like camping by a water supply so i try and go as far as i can and camp somewhere coool.

When I go camping its usually with friends and we go onto national forrest or BLM land where we can do what we want. We bring the bare minimum (tents, sleeping bags, and maybe a chair) and build our campsite out of those things and whatever nature provides us. We are respectful in the sense that we leave no trace.

We then eat our mushrooms, or drop our acid, and begin exploring the area. We like deserts of Utah and NM, but we will also settle for some places in Colorado, below or above treeline (be very careful when above treeline).

Have fun and be safe whatever you do! Camping is the most organic fun thing there is!

Both in their appropriate time. I like to backpack but car camping is fun too, each has their advantages. One of the best spots ever for me was totally stumbled upon whilst sketchily driving down weird back trails (atv trails perhaps??) just looking for somewhere to crash. Total win lookout over the valley with enough loose rock to whip up a fireplace in no time and soft flat mossy ground the the tent.

Damn that spot was sweet.

Fucking love camping. There are miles and miles of forest service roads up in the mountains about 45 minutes up the pass from where I live and we just go find a spot and pitch a few tents and get drunk/smoke and play ring toss and shit. The most fun. Usually we go up a little farther and camp 5 minute drive below the pass where it still has snow and just bring up PVC rails and shovels and have mega summer sessions and day drink all day long and then camp up there for the night. Passed many a weekend like that... so much fun.

Also I love this picture of us chilling at the dopest spot we found.

where I go camping its boat access only so we can't bring a lot but we go cliff jumping, fishing, hiking, build shit, have fires, make saunas all day every day. And when it's raining we play A LOT of cards

camping is the shit, shooting guns, blowing shit up, exploring, spending hours gathering wood to make gigantic fires, fishing, cooking the living things you kill, finding old ass cabins, (theres lots of old cabins/homes from 1800's-early 1900's)etc..
speaking of that, ive got a cool little story, we found one cabin in the woods where we were camping, was mostly untouched, we saw a weird looking wood thing wedged between a floorboard and a wall, spend like 10 minutes taking it out, and it was two planks of wood nailed together super tight, with a newspaper in between it. it was from the late 1800's, maybe half of it was readable. the coolest thing we read was an article about a hanging for two guys named catlett tipton and pleas wyatt. you can actually find some shit on the internet about them. it was crazy to read the grammer they used, like tons of slang, like straight out of a 60's western movie, if not more. probably the coolest thing ive ever found.

I'm going backpack/hiking to a hut that we built this weekend close to telluride I'm psyched to see how it is doing! Only two people have stayed in it or know the location. It is 11mile hike to it! Hopefully ill get some sick photos

Indeed, the idaho hick boys and I also go camping under some of the cliffs at our local ski hill. Dopest thing ever but we freeze our asses off. Good ol' Schweitzer Mountain.

We saw 1 other group on the way in who weren't even heading back there and then we saw one more party camping about a mile from our campsite. It's about 9 miles back and most of the traffic it gets is from climbers. That area may look pretty small but its quite vast, so even if there were other people camping there you may not even know they were there. We didn't even know the other party was there until we walked past their camp on the way to our climb. Also, don't let other people stop you from going back there, it is one of the most amazing places I have ever been, and I highly recommend it.
