Any one out there have any luck with padded impact shorts they've liked and could help me out with a link or something?..I typically would chose not to wear them but truth is I'm coming back from a major injury and would like to have the supportive cushion...It was a femur injury so something with good hip/groin protection. Thanks
If you go into a play-it-again, or anywhere that sells hockey equipment, they usually sell pretty good pairs of shorts. I know some hockey referees wear them under their pants, they aren't noticeable and I would think they would give you pretty good protection from falling on your hips.
yo dog i hurt my hip last year in PC, get ccm referee shorts. they are low profile so you dont notice them but they have huge padding from the bottom of your ribcage to your knee. every time i slide out on a rail or jump i barely feel anything. make sure they are the referee kind because those ones arent as huge as the normal hockey pads. anything else is too slim to make a difference
