my skiis edges and bases are pretty dinged up from the season, anyway that i could fix em up a bit?

Can you post any pictures? If there aren't any major gouges or core shots, but the base is still pretty bad, you may want to consider a base grind to take out the blemishes and have a nice smooth base again.

Watch 4frnt tech talk on Vimeo. There are episodes on base repair and sharpening edges.

Alternately, you could also just youtube it for a more step by step approach.

Some key words to include on your search.

Ski base repair, ptex, core shot repair, ski edges, ski tuning, ski care.

You can also substitute the word ski with snowboard, it's the same concept in regard to repairs.
