Oakley Crowbar fit vs Smith i/ox

How does the fit of the Oakley crowbar (2012) compare to the i/ox? Would the sizing be more comparable to the i/ox or i/o?

Iox is way bigger than the crowbar. The crowbar and IO are comparable as well as the airbrake and iox are comparable.

Incorrect. The airbrake is much smaller than the I/OX, in fact, it's range of view is more similar to the crowbar and splice, while it's fit is a mix of the two.

The I/OX has a similar range of view compared to the Oakley Canopy, Electric EG2, and probably the Dragon APX, but I haven't tried on the APX.

Also, since the I/OX has a rimless design, it may look a tad smaller than the canopy. I love my pair, the lenses are really easy to swap out and they're comfortable. Having owned a pair of crowbars in the past, I can say I'm much happier with the bigger viewing window and different lens options.

However, I like the foam on Oakley goggles better, it's more comfortable and softer on the face. You really should go to a shop and try both on, because they're quite different goggles.

So if looking at the goggles on someone else's face, would the size of the lense of the crowbar be more similar to the i/o or i/ox?

its funny because in my experiences, I get very poor peripheral and vertical view compared to most higher end goggles that fit large, not even oversized. All of the goggles u compared these to in fit have a massive FOV, especially compared to the IOX

I found that the I/OX compared almost equally to both the canopy and eg2. They may have been a tad better in terms if view, but not by much, and they're also much bigger than the I/OX.

eh, maybe its just cuz they dont fit my face well, but they also mention the vision in Freeskier mag editor picks

I would try them both on. Goggle fit depends quite a bit on your facial structure

I enjoy the I/O a lot, but try them on to make sure you wont be miserable in them
