trying to get a job and have about $1200 saved up im looking for 240sx, wrx, or gsx basically any overrated nissan,mitsubishi, and subaru what do you think?

seriously OP, how could you possibly think your going to have any choices with 5 grand to spend on a car. Go and search the shit out of cragistlist, some great deals on there. Go look EVERYwhere. 5 grand isn't a lot. And maintennce and what not is expensive. Find the lowest mileage cheapest car you can get and deal with it till you get a job and can afford a nicer car one day

lolololo i only have about $1200 so far but if i were to be in the area of something 5000 or less id ask for support fromparents but yea ive actually found some good cars for $5000 and below just gonna save up for a while

I haven't looked at many 240's honestly, i'm going off of overhearing conversations, and looking at the 240's that I see driving and asking questions about them. And yes, I know I fucked up on the whole welding diff thing, it generally would be free.


and why the fuck didn't you buy the 240 with the sr for 2500?!

Got mine for 4800.
Lifted, 2 10in subs behind the seats, all wired and amped, nothing wrong, 41k miles on it

are you saying that not all WRX's are turbo'ed? because if so you sir would be wrong. Also good luck finding a turbo AWD protege because finding one in good condition is going to be hard

when i turned 16 i thought i wanted to build a project car. After a year of not having enough money for my project car I gave up and bought a 2000 civic for daily commute. Computer games turned out to be a way better hobby for me anyways
