I've played sports my whole life including skiing/skating and it's starting to become apparent that it has taken a major toll on my body. I wake up in pain everyday and my back is constantly hurting and when I run my knees ache like crazy (I've had surgery on both) I've been contemplating getting it fixed but have heard that back surgery should be avoided at all costs. Right now I take pain medicine to help manage the pain but I don't really want to keep going down that road. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
