I was hangin with Mike yesterday. He has some big plans in store, but I think the 200 ft bridge jump was just kind of an idea that he entertained and realized it could be ugly.

I can't get over how big they used to go. Is it just me, or do we not see as much gnarly backcountry gaps now as there was back then? It's incredible to think that they were slaying jumps that hard when the biggest rail tricks were a few 270's and lipslides. So much style either way.

That was totally a wind-up films thing. If you watch the old shit like Clay Pigeons, Tee-Time and The flying circus they were all about just sending absolutely bananas huge gaps in the Utah BC. It was totally awesome.

I found my old boxes of movies when I was home for Christmas. I was bored tonight so I dug through them and found TBC. I am rewatching it right now. Still as unbelievable as the day it came out and I've noticed a few things:

1. Oakley Wisdom's will always be the ugliest goggles ever made
2. Mike Wilson's double will always be one of my favourites.
3. No one but Jon Olsson could ever pull off an fluorescent pink J.Lindeberg suit.
4. I can't think of another ski movie with as many big names in it.
5. Possibly the best soundtrack of any ski movie ever?

In conclusion, Ostness needs to make another movie.
