I ski in the east at Holiday Valley where it is a sheet of ice 50% of the time. I take about 20 park laps for every non park lap. Which ski should I get?
Height, weight, ability level, and what types of things you hit in the park (rails, jumps etc)? What skis you have now, and what you like/don't like about them. These would help us a lot more!
6'2, 185 lbs, advanced skill level, going into my 4th year of park. I would say 85% rails to 15% jumps. Right now I have 176 cm ar7's and love them but they are a bit stiff and are heavier.
u should consider a full camber ski or something with only early rise because the shape of both of your choices is not really ideal for icy or hard skiing conditions. you should look at el reys or something like that
as far as ice goes, great, but they have a ton of camber which is great for popping but not so much for switchups and stuff so it of course will be amazing on everything but I think the El Rey or maybe some other ski like K2 would be better suited for what you are looking at
Pretty good at first. Towards the end of the season I was sliding all over the place because my edges were detuned. They are the best ski I have ever owned though.
