So a me and a buddy are thinking of going out to the States/Canada for a few weeks of sweet POW and Urban. We want to visit some cool places you guys would recommend and check some stuff cause we don't get much snow here in England.
Go to Switzerland or Austria, has deep pow, good urban, very good parks and getting there is cheaper. In Switzerland, I would recommend going to Laax or Les Croset if you like park but if you like Backcountry/Sidecountry (REAL SKIING) and tons of tree skiing go to Grindelwald (Lauterbrunnen is good to stay in, easy access to Muerren, which go's up to 3100 and really good big mountain and deep snow in the trees, cliffs, pillow lines and all that shit, all within boundary and just outside where it's still patrolled. Grindelwald is also super mellow, cheap season pass only 250 CHF so if you're there for like 3 weeks worth it, and nobody tracks shit so it's always super chill and nearly always pow as it's in a brilliant cloud belt. Also has an alright park on First Berg if you waited till February but that's when the most pow is so this season I haven't been in the real park once since I got about 30 pow days there and park is better in the east. In Austria, go to Mayrhofen or Solden for park and shit, but for Pow go to Stubai. Best terrain in Austria and I even got a pow day last year in May. That go's up to about 3400 so you're always good for snow and it's got a chill feel compared to other places in Austria. Urban is very possible in Laax, Grindelwald and Stubai, in Stubai there's a wooden offset roof on a bar right by the very bottom and that's just there so many possibilities in Europe which I know but it's also secret, can't tell you everything about stashes and all that
