They already spy on their own citizens and record pretty much all data passed between them all in the name of "safety". Are crime rates significantly lower than say 50 years ago? I am just getting into this argument but, yes Chicago does have both of those things, but in different countries it is much different. This is something that "gun nut fucks" tend to ignore.

Scotland has a gun rate of 5/100 people, in the US there are 101 guns/100 people. Scotland had 93 homicides TOTAL in 2011-12. US had 16,000 with 11,000 from gun related homicides. While I think this can show some correlation between gun control and gun murders, it doesn't explain it all. People are stupid/cruel/mentally ill etc. Which causes them to kill other people for whatever reason. In the US we must have some pretty fucked up people. Canada does not have that strict of gun laws yet they have very low gun murder rates as well. I'm not saying the government is against the people in any way, but they need to do something to stop this trend of violence. Chicago is an area with immense poverty and low quality of education, where texas and other states are less densely populated and has higher education standards. The majority of gun death do happen in impoverished areas where kids are not getting educated in the ways they should. We shouldn't necessarily be looking at gun control but at education systems and wealth distribution.

Even if you don't call it specifically marriage they should have the same rights as anybody else in a legal union. Just like saying black and white couples don't have the same rights as two whites. Actually stocking your own freezer full of healthy wild organic free range(insert a million other new buzzwords) animal meat is a very satisfying and pleasurable feeling. Using a gun properly and safely for hunting is a rewarding and very educating experience.
