So, a pistol with a match-grade trigger, upgraded sights, aftermarket barrel, etc, etc, that is designed specifically for competition shooting at paper targets is nothing more than a tool created to kill? I guess baseball bats are nothing more than neanderthal clubs used to bludgeon enemies and wild animals, and steak knives are the same as crude prison shanks. That's basically what you're saying, right? Not all guns are manufactured solely to kill. If I wanted to, I could kill someone with a bat with 99% of the ease of pulling a trigger and shooting someone. One solid swing to the head and it's lights out. Guess there should be waiting periods to purchase bats! Shit, maybe next time I'm in Williams Sonoma, I'll pick up a new chef's knife, then turn around and stab a customer in the face. Where's the background check and waiting period on those?!
I am all for background checks, and even a short waiting period to purchase firearms, but to say something as ignorant as "they are nothing more than tools designed for murder" shows how uneducated and generally fucking stupid you are.
Anyway...can't wait to go shoot my murder machines at the range tomorrow! Maybe I'll even try out my dad's new birthday present: a Mossberg 590 tactical with a bayonet attachment! Yee haw! MURICA!

it is the exact same thing i said before......he said that the words jefferson spoke are irrelevant because it happened a hundred years ago and because we have a judicial system lol(which jefferson said would be despotic and reason for arms). with that logic, anything that happened "a hundred years ago" must also be irrelevant hahaha......not shocking that you would make a mess of that and attempt to disparage a person though.
