First Picture was the Bowl Setup in Laax at Pleasure Spring Session 2015, couldn't find a better picture of it. And the other one is from the Ender Bender at Grasgehren in Germany (only one rider made it through)
I remember this one like it was yesterday. Never could hit it, but definitely reminds me of some really good times at Okemo.
kung_powpowalmost forgot this one, so sketchy for skiers. I remember seeing it at Okemo when it first opened and then I saw it again at Stowe a couple weeks ago. Park crew guy said Okemo sold it to them and now they have it "on display" cause people kept getting hurt on it
Carinthia is adding some weird looking springy rail. Maybe would help with spinning out and soften the impact? Idk
Fuckers stole my idea. Been trying to get my boss to make that for years. Launching people off the end by jumping on the beginning would be the shit. We had a box that the last foot was knocked off by the cat and it was springy like a diving board, much fun.

Not even functional but I finally got to build the planter box I was always joking about.
To get an idea of what I was doing with it. (Never got a drove shot or the cat with the boom up there to take any pictures from the corner angle)
Here it is with flowers and mulch.
And a better angle of the setup. Ended up building a bank 1/4 on the side of the flat rail instead of a wall so you could slide and drop in or come out of the bank to or over the rail.
Oh yeah the box got run over by a cat already and one of the tubes I built got bent up pretty good. Not too bad, but it's pretty thick steel, and the welds were solid. Thing took a beating. Who knows it they'll still exist next year but it was nice to have them for a bit.

I'm hoping that some of the stuff will rub off on them. Like building proper jump knuckles, but who knows. I'm not really expecting to see anything spectacular. That said I wouldn't mind it getting sick, even if they did it just to spite me. If they improve their park for any reason I fully support it regardless if I'm a part of it.
Finally got up to Carinthia and hit the spring rail, not as interesting as I expected, moves more side to side than up and down, but with enough pop you can get it to shoot you a bit. If you don't land dead on though it just goes side to side. Still a fun set up in Carinthia, although slushy when I was there

Yea, it looks like that could have been done better. I've always wanted to do something similar but put a pivot in the middle so you could launch people off the end and would eliminate the side to side motion.

Honestly 20 down rails could be fun.
I guess it's all about variety. As long as you have everything covered. I like in the big parks where there are multiple of everything. I would try a trick first time on a down rail. By the end of the 4th or 5th run sometimes it was effortless. Assuming the I didn't die on the first attempts. I dig being able to get 4 down rail hits in a run.

You can never go wrong with a nice down rail and they do have a great park at my home mountain. I just would like to see some more variety/creativity.
The Streets At 7 Springs has to be the most unique park on the east coast. It’s inspired by downtown PGH and has seen some pretty unique features. A bus stop, pyramid, electric boxes, etc. 7 Springs also made a xylo box that’s about 25 feet long and it’s incredibly fun. I’d post pics but I’m on mobile.

I can't tell but the east coast one was touring. The one in CO might have been touring too. But they were in a bunch of the early 2ks comps.
I almost bought the east coast limo from a dude in florida. Figured insuring it would be a pain in the ass and wasn't gonna drive it much.
Thought it would be epic to load the homies in a limo and head to a mtn.
