Your heel disintegrated? I'm a little confused here. Are you trying to repair the hoes on your 916's heelpiece, or fill the holes on the old ski, or repair the holes on the old ski so they're usable again?

the plastic base on the heel piece was like dry rotted. the heel did not pull out and the holes are fine. i got a new heel piece and i am just wondering if i really need to put some adhesive in the holes and if i do what

Definitly wood glue because epoxy is a bitch if you ever take the binding off

If you're re-mounting the ski into those holes, I would consider heli-coiling or using inserts on the old threads; unless the old threads are still intact. If you do use the old holes as is, I would epoxy the binding screws in place.
If you aren't mounting up the bindings in to the same holes, then go buy a dowel to fit in to the holes, then epoxy the dowel all the way in, and cut it off flush with the topsheet.

Perfect, then yeah, just screw the bindings back on to the skis, but before you put the screws in put a dab of epoxy in each hole. Use a 10 minute epoxy, probably something like G-Flex.

use wood glue. epoxy is a bitch to remove in the future and can damage the core when it is removed

Whoever is saying epoxied screws are a bitch to remove has never tried it themselves, or is just weak with a screwdriver. Wood glue or 5-10 minute epoxy, whatever you have at home. No need to use expensive stuff on mounts.

wood glue and some steel wool in the holes should work fine. When you're putting the new screws in just be careful not to cross thread the holes.
