Replying to Thoughts on "Multi-sport" helmets

So recently I have been evaluating the option of getting a new helmet and, being the cheapass that I am, was looking at some helmets that could serve multiple uses or even considering wearing my biking helmet next season so I wouldn't have to spend any cash. I was just looking for you guys' thoughts on these helmets ski-wise; do they offer enough protection? Do they fit well under hats? Are they comfortable?
