Do you get new skis every season?

Just wondering, usually I get a new pair for Christmas every year or every other year, luckily I've never had a ski or binding break on me so I've never had to buy a new pair mid season. Currently I ski on the 2012 K2 Press, 2011 K2 Domains, and rossi S7s for pow. Marker Jester bindings on the Press, stock bindings on the domains and S7's.

Yeah I've had my fujis for 6-7 yrs, need new ones this upcoming season.. the Picasso ones

I use mine until they're destroyed and a hazard to have under my feet. I usually have a back up pair for when I total a pair, but I usually end up buying a 1-2 pairs a years depending on how good of deals I can find.
