The other day I was riding past a girl with her smith maze on backwards, whilst filming the hilarity I tried to tell her that it was backwards and as soon as i rolled past her, her friend took one of the most classic face plants i have ever seen. I was hardly involved but it was the highlight of the day.

Pretty much was sliding a box and the kid in front me me decided to sit down after he went off.  He didn't fall he just SAT down and started shuffling to the left and didn't see me. I was almost a tail edge to the face but i decided to fall too so he didnt have to get hit.

Some parents letting their kids play in the park, and by play I mean without skis, just running around. There was a 5ft diameter tube with quite a big drop off and for some reason, they were playing inside that and on the landing and I didn't know this.

Cue me nearly landing on one and having to tuck my legs up to avoid impaling a kid but pressing him really hard.

The kids stopped playing after that.

wow this kid starts saying "don't go" literally after the skier went off the jump.

One time this little kid snowboarder crashed on the first jump of this jump line. Except he literally crashed on the jump so he was all sprawled out on the jump itself. He then couldn't stand up and started to crawl his way over the roller. Somehow it took him over 5 minutes to make it over and this is while a large group of people are waiting to go up at the top. If somebody had gone while he was making his way over the roller, I'm sure they both would have been seriously injured.

At Killington I was coming in pretty fast to a 40' about to spin and this little girl probably about 4 skis up to the lip. I clipped her ski and she fell on her face. my ski came off and I did almost a frontflip off the knuckle. The dad came down and gave me some shit as the girl was crying.

All the time through the snowcross track at keystone off paymaster. I would come hauling through there, 180 the rollers and stuff, saw these 4 gapers crampin my style, I didnt give a shit. Blasted through 2 of them missing them by like 2 feet while jumping one of the doubles, threw in a nice grap to add effect. Bet they were scared shitless.

I really enjoyed that edit.

And I plowed over a couple gapers riding out from rail switch. I came off with a bunch of speed and they were just standing on the landing where the trails merged. Neither of us had no idea what was going on. It was weirdly satisfying.

I was skiing down this run when this gaper ski patroller passed me and then started turning abunch and cutting me off. When the trail widened I passed him then he came to pass me again and didn't notice my turning and had to yell at me to get out of the way.

Was going switch into a kicker and as I was heading into it I saw a girl cut across on the other side down into the landing area so I hastily decided to cut really hard left and flew off the side of the kicker and landed into a flat area and landed on my pole and snapped it.

my season ended spinning into some assclown that cut under the knuckle. I clipped him right between the shoulder blades with the side of my boots. If I'd been 6 inches higher, or not spinning he'd be dead. Fortunately, he ended up fine, and I went to the hospital.

My home hill as a gaper ratio of about 173:2 as in only 3 skiers where I'm from can spin past 360.

Ive gotten bucked on a few jumps and I have to pick up my shit, and gapers still come down the landing, and almost hit me occasionally.
And then ya know riding away from a landing and they come out of nowhere, that kind of shit.

Back in the day when i was a little racer on some super g skis got dared to straight line it hit a roller flew maybe 50" or so straight into 2 girls.... ruptured my spleen and knocked both of them out

To same thing happened to me! Little kid in front of me straight slid this a-frame box and landed and stopped right there, and I was right behind him. I took him the fuck out and got bitched at by his dumb ass mom.

Some snowboarder girl at my home mtn was crossing the entrance to the park and essentially left me with no option but to take her out. It was either that or charge into the lift tower..

Her dad and bf were there and got mad pissed but I just got up and ski'd into the park like #YOLO420SWAG

Landed on a snowboard, banged my head against the boarder and bruised my lip. He went into the smaller kicker just in front of me and from the side, so i only realized he was going to jump when it was too late.
Also, many gapers at my hill tend to see some obstacles at the top as perfect places to sit down and tighten their buckles, maybe even relax and have a snack.

i aired off a little lip on a regular trail and this kid made the widest turn possible (pretty much 90 degrees) and like skimmed him and knocked him over. my ski edge was pretty close to his neck

This isn't a gaper story but when I was a kid I was skiing on this run for kids because I was just starting my dad was on the side watching me all of a sudden a snow border was going so fast and drilled me when I was just pizzaing my way along I fell double ejected ad the knuckle dragger tried to run and my dad tackled him and help him down till ski patrol came pretty scary cuz I was only like 5

I was night skiing with 2 other friends. We decided to hit a jump one after another. I hit it first and when I'm in the air I see a kid on the landing walking toward his skis..I land right above him and ski between him and his skis, like 2 feet away from him. I come to a stop and yell at my friends to not go but they already did. My first friend was the same as me and went in between him and the skis (like 2 feet away from the kid) and my other friend ran over his skis! The gaper was in the shadow of the jump so we had no idea.. Just about injured a young gaper

probably the worst for me was I went to hit this little table only to find a sit skier crossing the landing! We both went down. Thankfully he got up laughing his ass off and was chill with his epic beard and nascar jacket, said sorry for being in the landing.

later that day I saw him sending the jumps.

yesterday some kid was skiing about ten feet below the knuckle of the 55 foot step down in paintbrush and i landed about 5 feet from him, so glad i missed him since i came in switch

I was riding switch and a trail merge was coming up and this old lady skied in a straight line across the trail. About 5 people dodged her, and I smashed right into her. It reminded me of frogger. I felt really really really bad though because she was crying, and like 4x my age.

at Gore mountain, the gaper capital of the world, my friend and my brother were hitting a takeoff at the same time. there was a gaper on the knuckle that they didnt see and my friend landed on the back of his neck with his legs spread open to try to avoid him. The gaper was standing up so the force made him tumble into a forward roll upon impact. he fucked up his face pretty badly
