you mean do i need it (which is kind of rhetorical since i'm selling them) or do you mean do you need them in order for the a-frames to fit a helmet?

the a-frames in general are actually really good about fitting most helmets without the helmet kit, but there's a few helmets out there that don't fit them too well. so if you happen to have one of those helmets, i happen to have a kit.

The armada hat is really nice. Too bad armada prolly just got a big box of them from a Nepalese store and sewed on their 'the road is turning sharply' logo.

you dont need it but it maked em fit better on ur helmet and also has grippy thing so they dont slide off as easy.. i use mine on my helmet all the time..
