Your Best Ski Day ever

This thread is just for describing your best ski day ever.

I snowboard and it was the last day of the season, and I had wanted to try skiing so I thought that a nice spring day on skis would be fun.  I wanted to rent ski blades but the rental shop did not have any left.  So I just rented the shortest pair of twin tips they had.  (I think they were 141cm) On my first run I could do natural and unnatural 180s and switch natural and unatural 180s.  I had a small competition with my little brother (who skis) and I won by going towards a dance floor switch jumping on left foot foward then a blind switchup and landing normal. 
That was my first day skiing and I want to try again

Went to Val Thorens for 7 days, and the first 6 were shit, with mist and snow so that you couldn't even see your own hand... and then... the 7th day. A miracle happened. All the clouds and mist were COMPLETELY GONE! And we had prob 15 inches of champagne powder, and as it was a transfer day, there were close to no one in the backcountry.
Im still having wet dreams about that day man....

Spring pow day at Mt hood meadows in the morning, grabbed food in portland, and went surfing till the sun went down. Amazing day to say the least

Fernie january 17th and 18th. hard to decide which day was better. -28 c 95cm over night and it didnt stop. aprox 100cm on the 18th. first day most of the mountain was closed for avy risk but second day they opened some bols. it was nuts the snow would billow over your head youd only get 1 face shot a run but itd last from the top of the run to the bottom. got frost bite on my face but it was worth it. I hope I get to ski something like that again.

Haha the 17th was my best day too but I was at alpental WA.

I was staying up there because school was canceled in seattle for snow. Got up to the lift line around 8:15 to find 20 something inches of blower at 15 degrees, plus maybe another foot from the day before when the mountain was closed.  To add to that, the pass closed at 7:00 that morning and wasn't expected to open until much later in that day... there was about 50 people there and we all got to ski untracked lines from opening to closing

I like to think that everyday I am able to ski is a good day.

That being said, skill wise, I typically ski better in the beginning of the season and progressively get worse? Strange.

Skied all day at breckenridge, stomped some corks and rodeo's, then went to copper mountain and got 2nd at the nationals rail jam.

Had a good one last thursday at hood, literally only 5 people max in the park at the same time. It was misty until the afternoon when it cleared up for a little bit, the stoke level raised and tricks were thrown.

At Breck one day when everything was total cement, after everything was skied out the wind started to blow really hard making the snow really soft, almost a total reset and I lapped Horseshoe Bowl 5 or 6 times. This was earlier in the season when you could still go pretty big off of the one rock/cliff/drop mid-skiers right of the bowl. I also found massive tranny going from those trees adjacent to the T-Bar to the cat track on skiers left back to the lift. Overall though the complete turnaround in conditions is what made this day so awesome.

Also the first day I went night skiing in like 5 years at Keystone. I found like three pillow lines off of paymaster and straight-lined schoolmarm because no one told me I couldn't

sick. that storm must have hit a wide area. wish this winter was as cold and as snowy. Keepin my fingers crossed for next season.

2+ feet of fresh at powder mountain on my last day of my trip out west. we saw it snowing the day before, plane was delayed, so we drove back up to powder instead of snowbird and i had the best day of my entire life

probably Feb 22nd of this year at Taos.....DEEP champagne powder and we had the place to ourselves.  it was the 3rd day of a 4 day storm that dumped close to 4 feet.  caught very first chair with a couple buddies and we tore the place up all day.
