Cheap Place to stay near windells

What is the nearest hotel or something where I could stay? Anyone else taken a trip out there really cheap?

IF you want to do it really cheap, camping at the airstrip is always an option. If you have a car, it would be pretty easy to get a motel room in Sandy and drive up 30 minutes every day

There is a best western in govy and sandy, some other less-known motels around that area too.

The ark is employee housing for windells. If you know someone that works there such as a digger or coach bring a tent and post up. That's what I did. If not, airstrip is always interesting.

Yeah windells is really not super close to any town. Mt hood village is the nearest place to stay, I know it's an Rv park but the might allow you to camp there. It's still a good 3 miles away though.

Do you mean MHSSC? It's like 5min from Govy and we'll drive you to everything. Basically the only difference between you and a normal camper is that you don't sleep in the campus lodges. You sleep at whatever hotel.
I'm guessing Windell's probably does something similar for its off campus campers, but I don't know.
