Dakine, Oakley, Empire, Hestra, Armada, Saga (2014 season) just to name a few of the more popular brands out there. It really just depends on what material you prefer, technology, looks, and brand i guess. Gloves are really just personal preferance and trying them on for comfort or doing a little browsing around on the web won't hurt. Check out Outdoor Research. I got a pair this last season of "Northbacks" and they worked great-never got wet or cold

Hestra Seth Morison pro gloves. Super fucking warm n comfy. Not to me toon they held up for 5 seasons on Michigan tow ropes that rip most gloves to shreds in minutes

if your from canada go to marshalls, they sell last season's gloves for really cheap. I got a pair of marmot goretex gloves for $35, they sell online for $100+.

I got some Swany X-change II goretex gloves, they're super warm i could sell or trade them to you. MSRP is around $90 so you would save some money

Depends what you want the glove for but for general winter goodness I've gotta+1 the Hestra Sethmo. Bulletproof, waterproof, warm. Not a lot more you could ask for.

If you're on a super tight budget, Kinco work gloves and a good boot wax.
