A few days ago I made a post about, asking should I get Line Masterminds. I got a lot of great feedback, and a lot of people recommended the K2 Domains. They seem really good, but my biggest concern is that they have no camber. I'm just over 5 foot and barely weigh 100 pounds, I'm pretty new to park, but can do some basic stuff. (I'm not hitting jumps bigger than 40 feet regularly.) Do you think this ski would be good for me. Thanks!
I have literally near nothing but positives to say about the domains, so it's easier for me to point out the negatives. Here they are: carving cambered a lil boring compared to a fully cambered ski, and on jumps past 40ft this ski can get sketchy, thats it. Other than that I love these skis, you can have a ridiculous amount of fun on them due to the soft flex and lack of camber, which allows you to press, butter, and shuffle landings super easily.
They are a super fun park ski, super playful and nice and soft. I rode nothing but fully cambered skis before the domains and I like the flat with rocker more in the park.
They are soo god for the surface swaps, butters, shuffles etc... they are really a true jib ski, and they would be perfect if you want a soft playful ski
I have a pair of them, I honesty find them too soft for jumps over 40 feet but other than that they are amazing, super fun on rails, and super buttery and flexy. I've never had so much fun on a pair of skis, would recommend them anyday
they are really not that bad on jumps over 40. I don't find them sketchy at all. That being said the skis I road before were afterbangs, so anythings more stable than that I guess. Anyway, I love my domains. So much fun, very buttery but not dead like afterbangs. I'm probably gunna buy another pair when these ones die.
