Picking a primarily park ski

Been reading quite a bit on a number of skis, looking for suggestions and opinions from personal use.

So;
Intermediate Skier
5'11 155lbs
Burnaby, BC. So mainly the local mtns, whistler every now and then
Budget $400-450
Looking for a ski to mainly use in the park but can also hold it's own on groomed runs. I'd say 75% park 25% groomed.

So I've been looking at;
Rocker 2 92
El Rey
Line TC's
Faction Soma and Wednesday
Salomon Threat

Feel free to speak on skis I haven't mentioned. The more info the better

The tc is probably too floppy for groomers. Out of what you listed, the el Rey's will probably hold up best on groomers because of their stiffness. If I were you, I'd find a pair of thalls or ar7s. You can get them in your price range at this point in the season. I have the thalls, it's an all around park slayer but the full camber and stuff midsection still make it hella fun on groomers. Go ar7s I you want something stiffer

Magic Js are nice for park but also cruising and since you live in bc, theyd be good because they can handle wide variety of snow. theyre like 480 though, but worth it

I'd check out the atomic Punx if I were you. Absolut slayer in the park! Tried them this winter and defo getting them as my next park ski.
Also pretty narrow so they are short from edge to edge, which make them pretty well on groomers to

K2 Domains are 80% park 20% all mountain. Although they don't carve very well. You should look into some Atomic Punx. And check out evo.com (if you haven't already) because they have some awesome deals going on right now. If you're gonna do 75% in the park I wouldn't get the El Rey's..

I have had nothing but good luck with my AR6s, and I've demoed the 7s a few times and love them

I'm 6' 3" 175lbs and I ride 171s, theyre a little small for me, but I prefer them over a 179 or 181

Tough call. I ride the Ar7 which is identical except for the flex. Im 5'9'' 160lbs and ride the 176. It's great in the park and tight spots but when Im ripping down steep groomers and hauling ass I wish I was on the 181 for more stability.
I probably ski more out of the park than most people though.

atomic punx are amazing skis especially for park. because they are so light you can whip them around on rails like crazy and they handle well on big jumps too. but be warned they aren't the sturdiest skis, mine lasted half a season then broke while two of my friends had similar problems.

Invest in a FKS 140/Look 14. Also the Salomon 14 sth driver or Tyrolia 15 deadbolt.

when you're in the park, do you prefer rails or jumps? also, do you ski switch a lot?

As for bindings, the driver atomics and salomons are good, as for the dildo bindings the pivot 14 are good along with the jesters are grwat as well
